The Hardys Tintara winery, on the main street of McLaren Vale, has been at the heart and soul of the region from the very beginning. In 1878 Thomas Hardy transformed an old flour mill into one of the region’s best wine cellars, and with his success, McLaren Vale began to prosper and grow. Today, we are proud to still be the home of Hardys, and be able to showcase the original winery, as well as combine time-honoured winemaking techniques with the best of today’s technology.

At Hardys Tintara Cellar Door you can enjoy a range of wines that showcase the best McLaren Vale has to offer, from one of Australia’s most well-known wine brand, with a seated wine tasting experience – an experience to remember.

ON THE DAY- RACE DAY!

8am – 11am , we will have our Beverage Cart out in the courtyard with a glass of Hardys Zero Alcohol Sparkling Wine for $10.00 to enjoy on its own or with orange juice.

11am – 4pm, our Cellar Door will be open for wine tastings, or for wine by the glass and platters to have and enjoy on the Tintara grounds.

Hardys Tintara Cellar Door is open on Saturdays: 10am to 4pm and Sunday – Friday: 11am to 4pm.
